Stéphane Nicolet is the winner of 6 EGP's (Cambridge 1994 and 2000, Paris 2004, Brussels 1999 and 2000, Amstelveen 2001).

He won the EGP series in 2000.

French Champion 1997, 2000 and 2005. He was runner-up in 2002, 2006, 2007 and 2009.

Winner Grand Prix de France 1994 and 1998. He was runner-up in 1992, 1995, 1997, 2000, 2003 and 2006.

He is the author of the outstanding othello program for Mac Cassio.

He was runner-up in 1996 (losing to Takeshi Murakami in the finals) and in 2007 (losing to Kenta Tominaga)
