Joel Feinstein won the UK National Championship in 1989, 1991, 1992, 1993, 1996 and 1997.
He remains the only player to have won three times in a row. He was a member of the UK team that won the World Team Championship in 1989, 1992 and 1996.
He was the first to solve 6x6 Othello, and the first "multi games" (backgammon, Othello, Abalone, ...) Igor winner (see Guilain Dorsimont).
