First of all, have a look at: http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/MediaWiki_User%27s_Guide. If you dont find answers there, please ask here
Just wondering: is there some sort of suggestions thing on this page? Or have I simply not found it yet? ~lark_ascending
What would you like to suggest? --kim 00:06, 9 Nov 2005 (CET)
Well, a suggestions page, for one :P ... and maybe somewhere official to point out bits that need working on, etc.? That would make life a little easier for, say, someone who only wants to drop by every now and again to have a poke at something. Trawling through the last 500 recent changes in the hope of finding something that needs doing is not fun =/.
Hmm, this is starting to look like something that belongs in the discussion bit.

How do I delete an image file I uploaded with the wrong name? (Posioning example.png) Geoff 13:49, 24 Nov 2006 (CET)
As far as im aware, thats an Admin job =) im sure theyll pick up on it now.--David 13:50, 24 Nov 2006 (CET)
Yes only administrators can delete pictures or pages (for security reasons; you can understand it). Which picture are you talking about to delete ? You can edit the picture by writing " Image to delete" and we will do it.

You can even ask Andriani, if he whould like to upgrade your account to admin-level, if you feel you need it. But please dont feel sad if he refuse, the wiki only needs a few admins, since regular users can do almost anything. --kim 23:15, 24 Nov 2006 (CET)
I was browsing through the special pages... what is this for?
http://othello.dk/book/index.php/Special:Allmessages
~ Lark ascending 23:42, 24 Nov 2006 (CET)
The Special pages shows many informations and statistics about the wiki content, list of editors, the blocked IP (against spamers) and other useful features.
The Special:Allmessages is a list of all the messages you get from the system when you are doing something you are not allowed to, (for exemple trying to edit a page if you are not a registered editor) or other informations messages. These messages are created by the MediaWiki developers, and can be edited or translated by the administrators.
