Garry Edmead
From The Othello Wiki Book Project

Garry Edmead was one of two exciting new players to emerge from Wellingborough in the 1990s, the
other being Guy Plowman.
Garry Edmead won the UK National Championship in 2002 and 2003. He was a member of the UK team that won the World Team Championship in 1996. He was 3rd in the WOC that year, losing a thrilling semi-final to Takeshi Murakami.
In the first few years of the 21st century, he has been consistently perched on top of the UK rating list. His peak rating has only been bettered by Imre Leader.
