David Shaman

David Shaman won the World Championship three times, in 1993, 1999 and 2002.
He is one of the two players to score 13/13 in the Swiss System (with Hideshi Tamenori).
WOC participations;
1982, 1985, 1986, 1987, 1988, 1989, 1990, 1991, 1992, 1993, 1994, 1995, 1996, 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004.
He started playing Othello in the USA, and won the 1993 World Championship for the USA, but has represented several other countries.
He lived for many years in the Netherlands, and won his 1999 and 2002 titles from there.
He returned in USA with his wife and his son in the beginning of 2005.
Winner of the US Nationals in 1982, 1985, 1986, 1989, 1990 and 1995.
Winner of the European Grand Prix Championship 1996.
Winner of 8 European Grand Prix tournaments: Cambridge (1988, 1993 and 1996), Paris (1986, 1996 and 2002), Copenhagen (1996) and Amstelveen (2003).
Winner of Aas Open and Aas Othello Cup 1994.
Winner of 7 Dutch Othello Open tournaments between 2001 and 2004.
Winner of 2 Belgian tournaments in 1996.
Dutch (resident) champion 2001.
